Job Specification Gyrodata is seeking an individual to join our software development team. This individual will be developing software to enhance a data management portal. The ideal candidate will have a BS in computer science/MIS or equivalent experience with PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, and open source database environments.

Requirements
  • Posses a firm understanding of Linux/FreeBSD, Apache, and IIS based web server and development environment.
  • Understand AJAX and interface design for browser and mobile device environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to design and implement web and database driven applications.
  • Will require ability to co-ordinate and work with diverse set of individuals.
  • Self motivated and driven must be a team player.
  • Familiar with source code control concepts
Education/Experience
  • BS in CS/MIS or equivalent
  • Candidate must be versed in PHP, JavaScript and AJAX
  • Must be familiar with operation of Apache 2.0+ webserver
