BASIC FUNCTION
Manager of Health, Safety and Environmental

This position assumes full company responsibility for all aspects relating to Safety and Environmental Issues. In this capacity, the Manager of HSE will establish and enforce Safety and Environmental policies and procedures for Gyrodata Inc.

The Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager serves as the specialist in HSE for Gyrodata Inc. This position is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring HSE programs, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Corporate requirements. Develop programs and policies that will assure continual improvements with safety and environmental systems. Maintain all Federal and State reporting and recordkeeping requirements. Drives initiatives in field's safety, industrial hygiene & health, accident prevention, root cause analysis, hazard material/situation control process and environmental compliance.

Responsible for investigating injuries and accidents and all applicable reporting as well as OSHA and State compliance requirements & training. Assumes the responsibility to direct and give guidance for the company concerning pertinent Federal, State and local government regulations on health, safety and environmental issues.

Monitors trends related to all employee work related injuries and illnesses and facilitate resolution of company wide safety issues. Ensure that employees participate in continuous improvement of the work environment and increase safety awareness to ultimately provide a safer work environment for all employees.

DUTIES
- Direct liaison between District Managers
- HS&E related audits in field locations and operational bases.
- Prepare Gyrodata safety training course with RigPass (IADC) certification.
- Responsible for follow up on HS&E implementation.
- Update ISN and PEC safety databases.
- Responsible for HS&E Passport implementation.
- Assist District Managers with PPE distribution and administration.
- Assist District Managers with failure administration.
- Assist District Managers to client meetings for HS&E related issues.
- Assist Managers with latest topics related to Governmental regulations.
- Perform risk assessment studies.
- Assist with Project Integration.
- Train field engineers with HS&E related issues.
- Instruct training courses to Gyrodata personnel.
- Provide timely operational reporting to the Regional
- Report any potential hazards to superiors in order to take corrective action.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Describe the minimum general knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill the responsibilities and duties of this position under normal circumstances.
  - Experienced in training, field auditing, and knowledge of regulatory standards.
  - Maintain ISN and PEC customer databases
  - Proficient in the use of JSA's, Behavior Based Safety (STOP).? Safety standards and Safety auditing.
  - Strong leadership with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  - Able to manage and influence people.
  - Ability to work in a diverse workforce and multi-functional organization.
  - Skilled at making company presentations at the highest senior management level.
  - Practitioner of Project Management, Root Cause Analysis, teambuilding, etc.
  - Proficient in MS Word, Power Point, and EXCEL.

  - BS or Associates Degree in Engineering or Safety related field or equivalent experience.
  - CSP (Certified Safety Professional) a plus.
